Omni Closes First Investment Round
“If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.”
In a little over 2 years, the Omni Movement has gone from nothing to leading one of the most prominent progressive education programs for partner dance (specifically, for Brazilian Zouk) in the Bay Area (OmniZouk).
We’ve reached over 300 students with that program, which has spurred us to create supplementary events (e.g. Weekenders) and launch our second program, OmniSwing, modeled after OmniZouk’s success but for a different style, West Coast Swing.
The Investment Round
With our success, Omni has raised $88,000 that will go to supporting the growth of our current and new programs. More specifically, our goals are:
Grow OmniZouk and OmniSwing
Start 1-2 New Programs
Start Omni Online, our online platform
Expand into Daytime Rentals
Additionally, our board expands to 5 members. An investor and an elected staff member will join myself, Julie, and Olivia as Co-Founders to direct the organization.
