Hello all,

We are delighted to welcome the illustrious Bruna Kazakevic for a month-long “residency” (yes, she has been in SF for a few month, but who knows how long she will stay!) during which she will be bringing to Omni pieces of her famous projects, Brazilian Zouk Hardcore and the White Dragon Method. Though she is more recently known in the United States for her expression and artistry, back home in São Paulo she is also known for being a precise technician. Bruna has trained many of our teachers, is passionate about Brazilian Zouk, and has studied many of its aspects over the last 14 years. Her continuous drive for knowledge shows in her dancing and in her adaptation to different styles, control, response, intensity, technique and sensibility.

Actress, administrator, singer, coach and Brazilian Zouk teacher since 2008, Bruna has become an international reference in the Brazilian Zouk community, and is inseparable from the history of the zouk scene in São Paulo. Some of Bruna’s accomplishments include and are not limited to:

Collaboration and hosting of events, workshops and competitions (Manual da Zoukeira, Kazake Night, Wonder Zouker, SP Representative – Zouk Ladies’s Team);
Development of her own methodology of styling for followers over the last 9 years, and was considered the first to choreograph a Zouk Lady Solo Team; she also created the first company for women in São Paulo (Cia KazakeZouk – 2015);
Co-creation of the famous project, Brazilian Zouk Hardcore, which focuses on the essence and training of Brazilian Zouk;
Placing or winning various international titles & competitions

Bruna will be teaching the following classes and events in September 2024:

Brazilian Zouk Hardcore Training - Wednesdays (Sep 4th - 25th) 6:30pm-8:30p, with Week 1 being the audition and only 12 leads and 12 follows will move forward into the following weeks.
OmniZouk Progressive Levels 3, 4, and Drills - Thursdays (Sep 5th - 26th) 6:30-9:30pm
Omni Intensives - Empowering Human Beings - Saturday, Sep 28th, 2:30p-7p with a 30min break at 4:30p.
Zoukland Pre-Party Workshop - Saturday, Sep 28th, 8pm-9pm
